5 Productive ways to manage your social media addictions:

1. Focus partner- Find a friend to help you stay on track with your goals and life plans. Map out the journey, set small goals and hold one another accountable.

2. Real life convo- Try to meet up with your friends, more often and in person. So much is being missed without personal interactions, learning each others behaviors, facial expressions and quirks. Get out there and schedule meet ups with your friends every now and again, to actually see how people are looking and feeling.

3. Less phone usage- This is my favorite one. When I want to get work done, I actually put all of my electronics away and keep them turned off. I write everything the old fashion way then go back and type it. I do this to get my true thoughts in order. It helps with work and any creative ideas I want to put in place.

4. Take a hike- Head outside and get motivated, enjoy the sun and break away from the trap of social media. Enjoy the real scenes of life, not just through filters on a device.

5. Track your time- This can help you in life, period. Setting small goals throughout the day is imperative; utilize to-do lists whether lengthy or short. If you must break and take a breather scrolling through Facebook or enjoying a junk food blog, check the clock to be certain you do not get caught up in your mindless enjoyment. Get your fix, in a timely fashion, and move on to your next task.
