American Education Week: Real Men Read

It was great to be apart of a program that lives by the motto “Committed To Academic Excellence For All Students.” I truly loved what they stand for as a teaching program here. I enjoyed a warm welcome from the schools faculty and staff. All the men who were scheduled to read to the youth on this day were treated to a wonderful complimentary breakfast. Afterwards we were called to read to our classes. I read to 3 classes and I had a blast, everyone was filled with so much energy. These kids asked a million questions and were very interactive with every book I read. Feel free to check out the pictures from the event below.
