Event: M.L.K. Restoring The Dream Weekend

Location: Suitland Maryland

This was a special event for Emerge Young Adult Ministry and myself. This was my first time being a featured poet, instead of a guest speaker. This was huge for me, it not only was an honor but a test of skill and art. I have a passion of poetry and normally stay in the topics of love, relationships, and inspiration. This theme was not new to me but new to perform. I enjoy my history and culture and couldn’t wait to get on stage and show what I can do.
